Belgium Free of Avian Influenza
BRUSSELS - Mar 18/03 - SNS -- A suspected outbreak of avian influenza in Belgium has proven false and restrictions imposed on the sale and movement of birds in the country have been lifted.
However, European Union officials say in the Netherlands, the existing measures have been prolonged until 27 March with some changes in the possible movements of poultry within the country.
