Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending      08/08/09

Organic grain and feedstuff prices were mostly steady, compared to two
weeks ago.  Demand and offerings were light.  Market activity was slow
as harvest approaches for corn and soybeans.  Harvest has begun already
for some small grains.  Most players are still in a wait-and-see mode,
unsure of where the organic market will move.  Alfalfa is being priced
from 85 cents to one dollar per point.  Monthly and second quarter
average prices located below.  All prices FOB the farm and negotiated
spot market.
