MELBOURNE - Mar 17/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning current for coastal waters NW Cape to Jurien Bay and Mandurah to Eucla. STATE FORECAST Far north and west Kimberley: Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Lower Southwest: Scattered about the SW district and along the south coast, with isolated showers in the remainder. Showers clearing the west coast this morning, but extending along the south coast during the day. PERTH AND METROPOLITAN: A shower or two at first this morning, clearing to a fine and partly cloudy day. Moderate to fresh S/SW winds. TUESDAY'S FORECAST TEMPERATURES: Perth: Min: 15 Max: 24 Mandurah: Min: 14 Max: 24 HEADLINE: Fine. TUESDAY'S UV INDEX: 11 [EXTREME] TUESDAY'S FIRE DANGER: Coastal Plain: HIGH Hills: HIGH MEDIUM RANGE FORECAST FOR PERTH FOR: Wednesday : Fine. Min: 13 Max: 26 Thursday : Fine, warmer. Min: 15 Max: 33 Friday : Fine, hot. Min: 18 Max: 36 TREND FOR SATURDAY, SUNDAY and MONDAY: Fine apart from a shower or two on Sunday. Maximum temperatures: Low thirties dropping to mid twenties.
