MELBOURNE - Mar 17/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning issued for coastal waters NW Cape to Jurien Bay and Mandurah to Eucla. STATE FORECAST Near coastal Kimberley: Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Lower Southwest: Isolated showers about the SW Capes becoming scattered tonight with isolated showers extending inland. Showers clearing the west coast by morning, but extending along the south coast. Eucla: Cloudy with very isolated showers. PERTH AND METROPOLITAN: A few light showers overnight. Fine and partly cloudy tomorrow. Moderate to fresh S/SW winds. For the rest of Monday: UV INDEX: 11 [EXTREME] FIRE DANGER: Coastal Plain: HIGH Hills: HIGH FORECAST TEMPERATURES: Perth: Max: 25 Mandurah: Max: 24 HEADLINE: Overnight shower.
