Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 14/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Pattern
A high pressure system south of Adelaide will move slowly eastwards, passing
south of Victoria on Sunday then strengthening over the Tasman Sea on Monday.
The next cold front will approach Victoria on Tuesday and move across the State
on Wednesday.    
Victoria
Tonight and Sunday: Fine apart from local overnight and morning drizzle and fog
patches in the south. A mild to warm and mainly sunny day inland. Generally
moderate south to southeasterly wind.
Fire Danger: Generally high rising to very high in the north 
UV Index: 9 [very high] reduced to 3 [moderate] under cloud  
Monday:    Early fogs in south otherwise fine. Warm to hot.
Tuesday:   Mainly fine and hot. Late cool change in the southwest. Windy.
Wednesday: Showers extending to east with cool change. Hail and thunder mainly
near coast.

Tonight and Sunday
Local drizzle overnight and in the morning clearing to a fine and mainly sunny
afternoon. Light to moderate south to southeasterly wind and fresh afternoon
seabreezes.

Tonight and Sunday: South to southeast wind of 10 to 15 knots. Afternoon and
evening seabreezes to  20 knots. Waves of 1 to 1.5 metres. 
Monday:    North to northeasterly wind of 10 to 15 knots. Afternoon seabreezes
to 15 knots.
Tuesday:   North to northwesterly wind of 20 to 30 knots.
Wednesday: A southwesterly wind change of 20 to 30 knots in the morning.
