Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 13/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Pattern
A high pressure system south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards, passing
south of Victoria during the weekend then strengthening over the Tasman Sea on
Monday. The next cold front will approach Victoria Tuesday.    
Victoria
Tonight and Saturday: Fine apart from local morning drizzle in the south and
isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the northeast ranges. A warm
and mostly sunny day in the north, milder and partly cloudy in the south with
light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh along the coast with
seabreezes.
Fire Danger: High to very high in the north, moderate to high in the south.
UV Index: 8 [very high] reduced to 3 [moderate] under cloud  
Sunday:    Fine apart from early fogs in the south. Generally warm. 
Monday:    Early fogs in Gippsland otherwise fine. Warm to hot.
Tuesday:   Late cool change in the southwest. Windy. Warm to hot.

Local morning drizzle then a fine and mostly sunny afternoon. Light to moderate
south to southeasterly wind.

Tonight and Saturday: Southerly wind to 20 knots easing to 10 to 15 knots by
morning. Seabreezes to 20 knots developing Saturday afternoon and evening. Waves
mostly 1 to 1.5 metres.
Sunday:    East to southeast wind to 10 knots. Afternoon seabreezes to around 15
knots. 
Monday:    North to northeasterly wind of 10 to 15 knots. Afternoon seabreezes
to 10 knots.
Tuesday:   North to northwesterly wind of 20 to 30 knots.
Headline Melbourne: Morning drizzle then fine.
