Firmer Undertone in Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Jul 19/09 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets once again finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer.
The primary mover was oil-type sunflower, which gained value during the past week in sympathy with a stronger soybean market.
That market is being driven by the oil fraction, which benefits soft oils such as sunflower. White proso millet was unchanged in light trading interest for both spot and new crop trading positions.
