Canaryseed in Nervous MoodVANCOUVER - Jul 19/09 - SNS -- Canadian canaryseed processors finished the week's trading in a nervous mood over the pending Statistics Canada seeding intentions report and the stocks still sitting on farms in western Canada. As is often the case, grower selling attitudes hold the key to price performance in canaryseed markets. But, with demand at a low level as birdseed packagers pay closer than normal attention to ash flow because of tight credit, any rise in grower selling could be problematic.
