VANCOUVER - Jul 19/09 - SNS -- North American lentil markets are heading into the spring seeding period on a solid footing, with both spot and new crop markets showing some strength.
Some anxiety could be detected, however, about the pending seeding intentions report for Canada. Markets are prepared for seeding intentions for Saskatchewan to be at least two million acres in the April 24 report, with most expecting a higher number.
