French Field Pea Exports Slow in MayVANCOUVER - Jul 9/09 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France declined in May, suggesting the 2008-09 season may not end with as much of an increase in total exports as initially expected. Data from the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) revealed exporters shipped 13,390 metric tons (MT) of peas in May, down from the 15,530 MT shipped in April and 43.3% less than the 23,630 MT of field peas shipped the same month last year.
