SPRINGFIELD - Jul 1/09 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the eastern cornbelt in the United States.

Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 6/27/2009

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were
steady to weak.  Demand was light for moderate offerings. Feed
grade corn was steady to weak.  Feed grade soybeans mostly steady.
Trading activity was very light. Concerns with poor quality and heavy
corn supplies helped to pressure corn prices lower.  Wet conditons
have delayed planting progress for corn and soybeans with producers
contining to work around standing water in some areas.
May monthly and 1st quarter averages of organic prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
