USDA Buys 3,320 MT of Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Jun 30/09 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 3,320 metric tons (MT) of pulses for prepositioning at U.S. Gulf ports for eventual shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 069C, the pulses packed in 50 kg bags were bought for shipment from interior plants between July 20 to August 10.
