Major Cut in Proso Millet AreaWASHINGTON - Jun 30/09 - SNS -- Proso millet planted area for 2009 totaled 405,000 acres, down 22% from last year's total of 520,000 acres, according to the USDA's preliminary seeded estimates for the year.
