Frozen Vegetables DeclineWASHINGTON - Jun 22/09 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable supplies sank 8% during May to finish the month at almost 1,574 million pounds, up 230 million pounds from the previous year, according to the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Compared to the previous month, stocks of asparagus, broccoli spears, okra, and onion rings were up. Compared to last year, stocks of fordhook lima beans, french style green beans, blackeye peas were down.
