Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 11/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For Wednesday
WARNINGS:

STATE FORECAST
Very High fire danger in Riverina.
Scattered showers  and isolated thunderstorms along the coast and ranges,
gradually easing and contracting north during day. Morning fog or drizzle on
east ranges.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms about the central west and north inland,
contracting north. Dry further westwards and in southwest.   
Mild to warm and humid on coast.  Warm to very warm inland. Light to moderate
south to southeast winds, fresh on south and central coasts today.
HEADLINE:
Showers and storms contracting north.    
Outlook for Thursday 
Isolated showers along the north coast. Chance of afternoon showers or isolated
thunderstorms in the far northwest. A late shower about the far southeast.   Dry
in the remainder. Mild to warm and humid in east, very warm in west. East to
northeast winds, turning northwest in west ahead of a milder southerly change.
