Oat, Sorghum Numbers Unchange, Barley TightenedWASHINGTON - Mar 11/03 - SNS -- No changes were made in oats and sorghum outlooks for the remainder of the marketing year in the USDA's latest outlook projections. By contrast, the USDA lowered its ending stock estimate for U.S. origin barley to take into account expectations of a slightly better export season. For all three coarse grains, this year's projected ending stocks represent a significant downward revision from levels seen in each of the two previous marketing years and are contributing to higher average prices for the current season.
