No Changes in Citrus Crop EstimateWASHINGTON - Mar 11/03 - SNS -- The USDA l;eft this year's production estimates for other types of citrus fruit grown in the country unchanged from February. The forecast of the 2002-03 U.S. grapefruit crop is 2.12 million tons, unchanged from the February 1 forecast but 13% lower than the previous season. The Florida grapefruit forecast remains unchanged at 40.0 million boxes (1.70 million tons) but 14% below last season. The all white grapefruit forecast remains at 16.0 million boxes (680,000 tons), 15% below last season.
