Few Changes in Edible BeansVANCOUVER - Jun 13/09 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were little changed against relatively good seasonal demand during the past week. Seeding made good progress in the United States in most areas, though progress is still slower than markets would like to see in North Dakota. The U.S. grower index finished the week up 23 points at 1016, versus 1206 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 80.9%, up 0.7 points from last week and compared to 79.1% at this time last year. The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1124, up 16 points from the previous week and compared to 1365 at this time last year.
