Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Mar 10/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Tuesday WARNINGS: Strong wind warning for NSW coastal waters south of Port Hacking. STATE FORECAST Scattered showers along the coast and ranges, with rain periods in south and central parts, gradually contracting north. Isolated thunderstorms on the ranges and coast at first. Some moderate to heavy falls. Isolated showers on the central western slopes. Dry further west. Mild to warm in the northeast, tending cool to mild along the south and central coasts. Warm to very warm inland. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh to strong along the southern half of the coast. HEADLINE: Showers or rain coast and ranges. Outlook for Wednesday Showers along the coast and ranges contracting to the north. Isolated showers on the northwest slopes. Dry in the west and south.
