Canada's Weekly Exports Total 590,300 MTWINNIPEG - Jun 12/09 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 26,646,600 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,096,500 MT from the 24,550,100 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending June 7. Grower deliveries during the week included 485,500 MT of wheat; 144,000 MT of durum; 60,200 MT of oats; 64,700 MT of barley; 19,000 MT of flax; 280,200 MT of canola; 50,300 MT of peas; and 5,100 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 590,300 MT. On the grain side this included including 335,700 MT of wheat; 60,100 MT of durum; 9,900 MT of oats; 19,500 MT of barley; and no corn.
