Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 11/09 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters between Walpole and the SA Border for
this evening and on Friday.
Forecast for Thursday  evening
Pilbara: Rain areas over central and eastern parts, easing during the evening.
SW Land Division: Scattered showers. Isolated thunderstorms over southern and
eastern parts, contracting to the south coast later this evening.
Southern and eastern Gascoyne, the Goldfields, Eucla and the southern and
western Interior: Scattered showers, tending to rain areas in the SE Goldfields.
Isolated thunderstorms in the southern Goldfields and western Eucla.
Forecast for Friday
Along the southern and Eucla coasts: Isolated showers, tending scattered with
isolated thunderstorms and hail east of Hopetoun. Conditions easing during the
afternoon.
The remaining Eucla, the western and southern Interior, eastern Pilbara and the
far SW Kimberley: Isolated showers, clearing all but the far SW Kimberley by the
evening.
Along the west coast between Geraldton and Lancelin: Isolated showers.
