Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 9/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Fire weather warning for western parts of the SW Land Division. 
Strong wind warning for coastal waters from Bremer Bay to Israelite Bay.
Strong wind warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Windy Harbour
for Tuesday morning.

STATE FORECAST
Kimberley: Showers and thunderstorms in the north and east.
SW Land Division: Hot to very hot. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far
southwestern parts,  mainly during the afternoon and evening.
PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
Very hot though fine today. The chance of a shower overnight and tomorrow
morning.  Winds shifting very humid NW'ly in the afternoon, fresh and gusty at
times then gradually tending SW later tomorrow.
The Fire and Emergency Services Authority and CALM advise that a fire weather
warning is current and that fires in the open are not advised.
