MELBOURNE - Jun 9/09 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters between Mandurah and Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Wednesday
Western Pilbara and western Gascoyne: Scattered showers developing from the
west.
SW Land Division: Scattered showers in northern and eastern parts, more isolated
in the southwest. Isolated thunderstorms possible in the north. Showers
increasing over the Southwest District tonight.
Southwest Goldfields: Scattered showers developing during the late afternoon and
evening.
Forecast for Thursday
Pilbara and Gascoyne: Scattered showers, clearing from western parts in the
morning.
SW Land Division: Scattered showers. Isolated thunderstorms in western districts
extending eastwards along the south coast late in the day. Moderate to heavy
falls near the west and southwest coasts, light to moderate falls elsewhere.
Goldfields and Eucla: Scattered showers extending into the southwest Interior
during the afternoon.
