USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 3,560 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jun 4/09 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 53,640 MT, compared to 24,520 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 37,690 MT from last year's 15,520 MT level.
