MELBOURNE - Mar 7/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

STATE FORECAST
Very High fire danger in Riverina and Lower Western. 
Scattered showers about the north coast and adjacent ranges, contracting to far
north coast. Isolated showers or thunderstorms about the coast and ranges
further south, becoming scattered in afternoon and evening about southeast to
central parts. Isolated afternoon showers western slopes.  Mild to warm
southeast to northeast winds  ahead of a moderate to fresh milder southerly
change, developing across southeastern and far western districts during day.

Showers and thunderstorms about SE.  
Outlook for Sunday   
Showers along coast  and adjacent ranges. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms about
