Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Mar 6/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Friday WARNINGS: Nil. STATE FORECAST Mild to warm and humid in the east today with scattered showers about the northern coasts and adjacent ranges, and isolated showers or thunderstorms about the coast and adjacent ranges further south. Warm, dry and sunny west of the Great Divide. Isolated showers persisting about the northern coasts on Saturday, while scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms develop across the southeast of the state during the day and extend into central parts by the evening. Otherwise, remaining dry about the western inland. Southeast to northeast winds will be moderate to fresh in eastern districts today, and only light to moderate in the west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds in most areas again on Saturday before moderate to fresh southerlies develop across southeast and far western districts during the day.
