Canadian Canola Crush Maintains Pace
OTTAWA - May 27/09 - SNS -- For the eighth month in a row, Canada's oilseed processors posted a monthly crush record.
During April, they processing 352,896 metric tons (MT) of canola, besting the previous single month record by roughly 9.2%, according to Statistics Canada.
Oil production totalled 153,150 MT in March while meal production amounted to 202,520 MT.
