India Tenders for Canadian peasNEW DELHI - May 20/09 - SNS -- The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd. (NAFED) is tendering to buy 40,000 metric tons (MT) of Canadian whole yellows peas. Offers on the tender are due May 27 and must be valid until June 10. The peas are for September shipment to either east or west coast ports, with suppliers asked to quotes rates for single and two port discharge for bulk loose peas. Prices must be quoted in US dollars per metric ton net delivered weight and quality basis C+FFO Indian port/berth at West Coast (Mumbai, Kandla)/ East Coast ( Tuticorin, Vizag, Kolkatta) separately. Offer should indicate separately price, if any for second port discharge. Offer should mention the specific load port(s).
