Peas Unchanged in Light Trade
VANCOUVER - May 16/09 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week's trading unchanged to firmer in light trading activity.
Seeding of this year's crop is advancing well in Saskatchewan and the United States, leaving room for markets to start wondering about the next phases of the summer season.
Crops need to be lost more than once before they seem real. As planting nears completion, markets will begin to worry about rainfall and heat patterns as crops develop and flower.
