Lentils Firm Through Fall
VANCOUVER - May 16/09 - SNS -- North American lentil markets maintained their firm tone in both and new crop shipping positions during the past week.
Exporters report ongoing trading interest for available supplies of current crop green and red lentils, as well as for new crop shipment.
With current crop supplies tight in both Canada and the United States, markets have become more focussed on new crop, with additional sales reported during the week to the Indian subcontinent and Middle Eastern destinations.
