Egg Output Starts 2003 Down 1%OTTAWA - Mar 4/03 - SNS -- Canadian egg production started the 2003 calendar year with a slight increase from December, but down almost 1% from year earlier levels. Preliminary production January were estimated at 49.5 million dozen eggs by Statistics Canada, up from December's revised total of 49.292 million.
