Generally Light to moderate SE to NE winds. EXTENDED OUTLOOK Dry air will push northwards through southern Queensland on Friday due to a ridge extending from a high in the Bight. This will contract showers to the northern tropics during Friday, and continuing into the weekend. Fine and dry in the south, with cool nights and frosts about the southern inland.
