Peas Don't Mind Stocks Report
VANCOUVER - May 8/09 - SNS -- Canadian field pea markets were pleasantly surprised by the latest stocks in all positions estimates from Statistics Canada.
March 31 stocks came in at record 1.675 million metric tons (MT), but that was a better result than inferred by known disappearance.
Available data suggested March 31 could have been closer to 1.9 million MT, which would have presented more a challenge to efforts to finish the year with a carry out of around 650,000 MT.
