MELBOURNE - Mar 1/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Flood Warning for the Fitzroy River Catchment and the De Grey River Catchment.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Windy Harbour.
Fire Weather Warning for the coastal sub division of the Central West District.

STATE FORECAST
South east Pilbara, East Gascoyne and northern Interior: Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms.  Winds easing.
North eastern Goldfields and remaining Interior: Rain areas extending from the
north during the day.
Kimberley: Isolated showers in the west. Scattered showers and thunderstorms in
the east.  
Southern Coastal District and Eucla coast: Isolated early drizzle clearing
during the morning. 
PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
Fine and sunny.  E'ly winds, fresh and gusty in the morning with a mid afternoon
sea breeze.
