MELBOURNE - Mar 1/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNINGS:
Flood Warning for the Fitzroy River Catchment and the De Grey River Catchment.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from the NT Border to Port Hedland. 
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Windy Harbour.
Fire Weather Warning for the coastal sub division of the Central West District.

STATE FORECAST
East Pilbara, adjacent NE Gascoyne and adjacent Interior: Widespread rain and
isolated thunderstorms with heavy falls and flooding,  easing and tending to
scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms from the north.  Winds easing
further.
East Gascoyne, Northern Goldfields and remaining Interior: Rain areas extending
from the north tonight and tomorrow.
Kimberley: Scattered showers and thunderstorms.  
Eucla coast: Isolated light showers contracting eastwards.

Fine and sunny.  E'ly winds, fresh and gusty overnight and morning.
