Warnings A gale warning is current for Victorian coastal waters east of Wilsons Promontory. Strong wind warnings are current for other Victorian coastal waters, for Port Phillip and Western Port, and for the Gippsland Lakes. Weather Pattern A high pressure system southwest of Western Australia will move slowly eastwards over the next few days. A cold front will move through Bass Strait during Tuesday. Victoria Sunday: Showers over southern and mountain districts becoming more isolated during the day. Isolated hail and thunderstorms in Gippsland clearing by the morning. Snowfalls at first on the higher Alpine peaks. A cool to mild day. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, strong to gale force along parts of the coast. Fire Danger: Generally moderate to high.
