Australia -- New South Wales Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - Feb 27/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For Friday WARNINGS: A Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters south of Port Macquarie. STATE FORECAST High to Very High Fire danger inland. Isolated showers developing on the far north coast. Showers and isolated thunderstorms over the inland spreading to the ranges and coast in the afternoon or evening, and clearing from the west. Isolated showers persisting about the western slopes of the ranges. Very warm to hot with moderate to fresh northeast to northwest winds, strengthening on the coast and central and southern ranges. A fresh and gusty south to southwest change over the inland reaching the south coast in the afternoon and extending through the central coast overnight.
