Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 27/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

UPDATED 
WARNINGS:
Cyclone Warning for coastal areas from Cape Leveque to Port Hedland.
Cyclone Watch for coastal areas Kuri Bay to Cape Leveque and Port Hedland to
Whim Creek.
Flood Warning for the Fitzroy River Catchment.
Flood Watch for the Pilbara Region.
Wind Warnings for coastal waters from the NT Border to Cape Preston. 
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Carnarvon to Windy Harbour.
Fire Weather Warning for the Coastal sub division of the Central West District.

STATE FORECAST
Kimberley, northern Interior and NE Pilbara: Widespread rain and thunderstorms
with heavy falls and flooding.  Winds increasing to gale force at times on the
coast.
Remainder of the Pilbara and NE Gascoyne: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Windy.  
Eastern South coast and Eucla: Cloudy with a little drizzle contracting
eastwards tomorrow.  
PERTH AND METROPOLITAN:
Fine. Fresh to strong and gusty E'ly winds overnight,  easing during the day,
later tending S'ly on the  coast.
