Few Changes in lentils
VANCOUVER - Mar 27/09 - SNS -- North American lentil markets were little changed against moderate ongoing trading activity.
Steady reports that Turkey's red lentil harvest will not return to normal levels this year added some support to North American spot and new crop red lentil markets.
That there will be a smaller than normal crop has been well understood by markets based on earlier reports that farmers could not get enough seed to plant as many lentils as they wanted.
