Weather Situation A high pressure system is approaching western Victoria and will gradually move eastwards to reach the Tasman Sea over the weekend. Another strong high pressure system will drift well to the south of Tasmania on Monday. Forecast for the rest of Friday Isolated morning showers in the south, mainly near the coast. Fine over the remainder. Cloud clearing. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh south to southwest winds. Maximum Fire Danger: Generally high, reaching very high in the north.
