Bigger Turkish Lentil Crop Forecast

WASHINGTON - Mar 24/09 - SNS -- Lentil production in Turkey will rebound sharply from last year's drought savaged harvest, but production will remain significantly below normal, predicts the U.S. agricultural attache for the county.

In a normal season, Turkish lentil production is around 483,000 metric tons (MT), the U.S. agricultural wrote in a recent comment on the sector.
