French Field Pea Export SlumpVANCOUVER - Mar 13/09 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France jumped in January, lifting the increase in total export activity so far in 2008-09 from 29% to around 32%. Data from the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) revealed exporters shipped 26,085 metric tons (MT) of peas in January, almost double the 13,340 MT in December and 51% more than 17,250 MT of field peas shipped the same month last year.
