MELBOURNE - Feb 23/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from NW Cape to Cape Leeuwin. Fire Weather Warning for the coastal sub district of the Central West Coastal DIstrict. STATE FORECAST Kimberley: Widespread showers and thunderstorms in the west with some heavy falls and local flooding. Showers and storms more isolated over the remainder. Pilbara, northern Interior and NE Gascoyne: Isolated showers and thunderstorms contracting northwards tomorrow. South Coastal District: A little overnight or early morning drizzle then fine. PERTH AND METROPOLITAN: Fine. Fresh and gusty easterlies overnight and in the morning with a later though fresh sea breeze tomorrow.
