MELBOURNE - Feb 22/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For Sunday WARNINGS: Gale Warning for NSW coastal waters between Port Macquarie and Norah Head. Strong Wind Warning between Wooli and Port Macquarie and Norah Head to Montague Island. Gale Warning for the Tasman Sea. STATE FORECAST Showers or rain periods over the ranges, coast and northeast inland. Local moderate to heavy falls in the northeast. Isolated thunderstorms in the northeast. Warm to very warm inland, mild to warm in the east. Light to moderate south to southeast inland. Fresh to strong northeast to southeast winds on the coast.
