Edible Nut Inventory RisesWASHINGTON - Feb 20/09 - SNS -- Supplies of edible nuts in cold storage in the United States were up at the end of January when compared to month earlier levels, judging from the USDA's latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Stocks of in-shell pecans dropped 35% from last year, while supplies of shelled peanuts were up 14% from year earlier levels and up 8% from the previous month at 303.5 million pounds.
