MELBOURNE - Feb 20/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
WARNINGS: Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Whim Creek to NW Cape. STATE FORECAST Kimberley: Fine in the west. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in central and northern parts tending scattered in the east. Eastern South Coastal district, Goldfields, East Gascoyne and Interior: Isolated showers and squally thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and overnight, extending westwards into eastern parts of the Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern districts. SW district and about the South Coast: Isolated showers and drizzle, clearing during the morning. PERTH AND METROPOLITAN: Fine and humid. SE winds, before an afternoon sea breeze.
