MELBOURNE - Feb 20/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For Friday WARNINGS: A Strong Wind Warning is current for coastal waters south of Smoky Cape. STATE FORECAST Widespread areas of rain clearing later from the southwest. Moderate falls likely over much of the south and heavy falls possible in central parts. Isolated thunderstorms in the west. Warm in the northern inland, cool to mild elsewhere. Moderate to fresh north to northeast winds, strong about the south and central coasts, ahead of a moderate south to southwest change in the west.
