Mixed Finish on Bean MarketsVANCOUVER - Feb 14/09 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, tough with a slightly firmer undertone in North American markets. The U.S. grower index finished the week unchanged at 1049, versus 1083 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 81.2%, down 0.6 points from last week and compared to 80.8% at this time last year. The U.S. spot market index for dry edible bean finished the week at 1155, up 8 points from the previous week and compared to 1199 at this time last year.
