Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 19/03 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Friday   
WARNINGS:
A Strong Wind Warning is current for coastal waters south of Smoky
Cape. 

STATE FORECAST
Cloudy. Rain in the southwest, gradually extending across the state
overnight and tomorrow, easing later tomorrow in the southwest.
Moderate falls are likely across the south overnight and tomorrow.
Isolated thunderstorms in the northwest, extending into the southwest
tomorrow. Isolated showers over the remainder, before the onset of
rain. Mild to warm. Moderate to fresh east to northeast winds on the
coast and ranges tending northeast tomorrow and strengthening on the
south and central coasts. Light to moderate north to northeast winds
inland, fresh at times tomorrow ahead of a moderate south to
southwest change in the west.  
This forecast is issued daily at 05.15, 1120 and 16.30.  For more
