Saudi Barley Imports JumpWASHINGTON - Jan 29/09 - SNS -- Barley imports by Saudi Arabia rose 6% during the closing quarter of 2008, according to a recent report from the U.S. agricultural attache for the country. Imports jumped from 2,276,000 to 2,435,000 metric tons (MT), with Ukraine supplying 43% of total barley imports during this period followed by Russia at 13%.
